oui oui, bebe! is an online consignment store based in Seattle, WA, USA. We offer a select variety of vintage fashions to customers within the United States. We take consignment from people based in Western Washington or willing to ship their collections to us for assessment.
Purchase Policies
The following rules apply to all purchases made at ouiouibebe.com:
- All purchases must be made using PayPal.com. It is not necessary that you sign up for a PayPal account to make a purchase.
- We will only ship to addresses within the United States and will only accept payment from United States-based account.
- Items are not guaranteed to be as stated in terms of era, fabric, or size. Our description of items in these areas is based on our impressions. Because we usually don't have a history of the item we are selling, it is possible that we may make mistakes in our assessments.
- Returns are accepted for 20 days from the date of shipment for any reason whatsoever. Refunds will only be issued if the returned item is in exactly the same condition as when it was shipping from ouiouibebe.com. We reserve the right to judge the item's condition upon return.
- Sale items (those whose original price is crossed out, with a sale price listed next to it) are not eligible for return or refund.
- The customer shall pay the shipping cost to return an item.
- If an item it judged ineligible for return, the customer will have the option of receivingthe item back, but if and only if they pay in advance the shipping charges necessary to send it back to them. Any shipping discount given on the original sale will not be given on the return shipping.
Consignment Terms
We're always looking for new consignments. We prefer to take consignment from people within Western Washington, but will consider collections at other locations if photos are supplied and the items involved are special enough to justify the extra expense of shipping them to us for an assessment.
All of our consignment agreements are governed byt a contract with an itemized list of the items consigned, and by these terms:
- The period of consignment is 90 days.
- Items may be consigned again after the current consignment period has expired, but the price must be reduced.
- The consigner has the right to require a minimum selling price. If the consigner elects not to assign a minimum price, ouiouibebe.com will determine the selling price. ouiouibebe.com reserves the right to ask for more than the minimum price and to refuse items whose minimum price is determined to be too high.
- The profit from any item sold will be split 50/50 between the consigner and ouiouibebe.com. If the item requires cleaning before it can be sold, the cost of cleaning will be subtracted from the selling price (not including taxes and shipping charges) to determine the profit. Items needing cleaning are only cleaned if they are sold.
- Payment for each item sold is held 20 days from the date of shipment to allow for returns. If an item is returned in saleable condition, the consigner will have the option of starting the consignment period over again. In the event that the item is returned but not saleable, ouiouibebe.com and the consigner split the profit on the item as though it had sold. While the item is within its consignment period, ouiouibebe.com will then have the option of reselling the item as a sale item. If that sale is successful, the consigner and ouiouibebe.com will split the profit of the second sale 30/70, with the larger portion going to ouiouibebe.com. When the item's consignment period expires, it will be returned to the consigner if it has not sold.
- From time to time, ouiouibebe.com offers consignment specials where the ordinary split of the profit from a sale may be increased in the consigner's favor. Contracts entered into during any such period will reflect those terms and shall override these terms. These contracts are for the items listed and the special split does not apply to any future contracts or to consignments of the same item if its consignment period expires.
